Fast, but ugly. I don’t know if this body style can recover from the EV madness from which it was hatched.
I saw this at the NHRA Vegas race. Says it’ll run 7s but they only building 50 of them lol

I was just looking at last gen Hellcat Chargers. One of the cheaper ways to get to 200MPH..... It's probably a decent comfortable car that gets sh1tty mileage....
I just drove my Challenger Hellcat about 220 miles to Nebraska and averaged 20 MPG which is slightly better than my 24 Expedition.

Most of the manufacturers have not been serious about keeping weight down. Ford has not done well with the Mustang, Dodge is on another planet and even the C8 Corvettes are hefty. The days of a stripper LX notch, C5Z06, C6Z06 are likely gone forever. I'll give credit to GM for actually being serious about cutting weight in the sixth Gen Camaro, that was one of the reasons I bought one. I guess we should be happy they are still building V8 powered cars.

I mean, I think a big reason is all the advancements in electronics and some of the safety stuff adding a lot of weight in modern cars. My 2003 Mustang GT weighed about 3300lbs, my 2012 is about 3600lbs. 2025s are about 3800lbs which is getting close to what a 2000 Crown Victoria weighed at 3946lbs. But look at all the features and even the ones we don't think about in modern cars. All the sensors in there and the wiring for everything.
