[QUOTE="offroadkarter, post: 16195862, member: 79484"] Carnival is the booze cruise trash line, that is the first problem. In my experience the smaller boats are the ones to go on if you don't want to deal with a shit ton of people. The biggest boat I've been on was the Oasis of the seas which at the time I believe held 3000+ people? Celebrity Cruises (owned by RC) is a notch above RC, better food, better service, level of trashy people kept to a minimum, boats aren't floating cities. Azamara (went on 1, no complaints) is the top tier company owned by RC, one above Celebrity. They have smaller boats and I believe focus on Europe. The very last one I went on was the Celebrity Summit, only because my parents booked the penthouse and I figured if I didn't go, I'd never get to try a penthouse suite on a ship ever again. Slept on the fold out couch, room was stupid large. I have a reminder of that trip for the rest of my life, one morning eating breakfast I noticed a front tooth got chipped. No idea how it happened but I will forever live with a half fake tooth haha.
