17-18? ok... lets say I did make 20... how many people would want different colors.. for each color there is a minimum charge of $80.. $80 x 4(colors) = $320 $320 / 20(pulleys) = $16 extra for each pulley not to bad.... but now here is the kicker.... What Sizes?.... When I make pulleys I will make 200-300 or more of each size then devide them up in to colors. I'm sorry but this "Very Small Run" stuff is just not cost effective for me because people think that the parts should cost no more then the production piece. Programing and setup time are not cheap you would be looking at about.... ABOUT 3 times the cost... so ABOUT ... lemme see.... hub and pulley = 150... about 50% for each... so 75 for the ring... x 3 = 225 plus 75 for the hub so ABOUT $300.00 for a 10 rib eaton/KB in 3.15" NS in Red (for example) Beyond that it would take alot of my time which right now I don't have alot of.... There is a reason why my pulleys work and look as good as they do. It's because I put the engineering, design time and effort and care into what I make... that ain't cheap and it don't happen with a snap of the fingers.
