discontinued boss 302 oil pan

Anyone know why Ford disscontinued the boss 302 oil pan...the $120 regular one. Seems in the last week all places are out of stock....got a call from stage3 that my order was cancelled because the part was discontinued, so just thought Id see if anyone had any more info. Any other similarly priced alternatives? Or do you now have to buy a $400 oil pan?

The Boss program is done so there were only so many parts in service available. Ford may have the supplier make another run of parts but that's never a sure bet, and even if they do it may be a while. Current production parts always take priority.
