Disable PATS with Predator Tune?

1. Is the Predator handheld able to disable the PATS?

2. 90% sure the tune on the car is stock (car was chipped when I bought it) but what are the risks if I install a tune over an existing tune when I remove the chip and use the handheld instead?

it will not let you tune over a car that is already tuned. if it does it will corrupt software and more than likley the vehicle will not start at all.

you would need to take the car to the dealership and have them download "as-built" data into the computer and then tune you car from that point. that is the safest and most relilable way to do this.

pats can be disabled but why would you wanna do that ?
