Difference (if any) of 03 and 04 heads.

There is no revised TSB's that I am aware of for engines built after 11/02. But several people like myself, have gotten the head replaced even if their car was built after 11/02.

In my original post, I mentioned Jimmy V. What I have found is that even he has reversed his statement. The point of this thread is to determine if there is any validity to the statement. Nobody has been able to tell me yes.

I think the 04 heads are the stock passenger and revised drivers side heads from the 03. The efficency of the tune allowed for the better gas mileage.

Can anyone confirm or deny this assertion?

so is ford standing behind the "tick" if so what are the guidelines they're following to fix the tick? and what are they doing to fix the "tick" ? are they just replacing one side with a new higher flowing head?
