Difference between 04 cobra and 02 GT drive shaft

I am in the middle of selling the stock aluminum drive shaft from my 04 cobra and the potential buyer has a 2004 GT. I did a search and found that it wont work, but nobody said why. Are the transmission output shaft splines different, can that be swapped on the drive shaft? Or is it a length issue? Just wondering before I lose a potential sale.

I believe the lengths are slightly different, but IDK for sure. Isn't the Cobra DS shorter by an inch or two?

We do have a T56 and a IRS, as opposed to a TR-3650 and a straight axle.

Pinion flange is different, length is incorrect and I believe the slip yoke is the wrong size/spline. It is entirely wrong.
