I didn't ask them directly what they paid but I'm sure it's closet msrp or they would not have ordered it. He said the dealer by their house is asking $385k for one they have available. Crazy.

I wonder which one will still be a car in 10 years and which one will be a paperweight. Time will tell I guess.
9.7 seemed slow for a 170. All the ones I've seen run 9.3 or faster.

Seems slow. My redeye with just a drag pack is 10.3-10.4. What’s their DA?

It was a few years when I was there. They had just picked it up (1st race with the car). It was a NMCA event so Ford, Chevy, and Mopar were there. Since the Demon had just hit the streets, Dodge had their factory team out that weekend testing a new ecu program on their bone stock factory car. They were running 10.40's. I'm not sure what the DA was that day unfortunately but it was 80ish degrees that day in Norwalk.
Edit: found a pic. June 18th, 2018. Looks like the weather was hot and fairly humid that day.Here's a pic with my niece.

I hardly ever see that color in any trim . I thought it would be a more popular color choice. Have they made it back to the track, and new times?
