Hey guys and gals, I need some help. I've never been in this situation before. I recently bought a 90 mustang coupe. And I also have a 03 cobra. Currently I only have a single stall garage. I flip flop cars from time to time. I have a storage unit I rent. My cobra has always been stored in my garage and now I'm thinking the storage unit might be better for it. Of the two cars my cobra overall is nicer and worth more. My garage is far from perfect. I live in Minnesota, it gets super cold, dry and temp changes drastically. It's not insulated, I've had mice in there years ago. But I leave traps up and haven't had problems in years. However my back yard is woods so I know they are around. In spring my garage sometimes gets water coming up from the foundation once the snow starts melting. And my car gets crazy condensation on it when temps start changing in the spring. My car cover will be damp and the rims are sweating. The storage unit is cleaner, and insulated. It has some pest control and cameras. I just don't like the fact that the cobra isn't at my house where it's been for nearly 10 years. Also the mustang coupe is from down south, first time it's dealing with cold weather. If fluids start leaking or something of that nature, at least it will be in my garage. Eventually I hope to build a 3 stall garage. I've talked with a Grundy insurance agent a few times to make sure my cobra is covered at the storage unit and provided pictures. She keeps telling me I'm covered. So what would you do?
