Looking to get a new clutch the stock one is very stiff and starting to slip alittle bit. What clutch is best to support 500-550 rwhp. I'm thinkin about going with spec stage 2. What do you guys think?

I have a spec 3+ and firdanza flywheel and the clutch has the light peddle feel and I love it. Feels like a stock clutch and has taken 8,000 miles of abuse so far and never slipped once. I also have a 26 spline input shaft.

I have a spec 3+ not fully broken in yet so still a bit of chatter but pedal effort is great

I have a spec 3+ in my car. My only problem is my clutch pedal is really stiff and it releases really close to the floor board. I have a firewall adjuster and ive replaced my clutch cable as well but eh, its a good clutch just stiff. I guess that's what you get for having a racing style clutch. Also its pretty much impossible to powershift, you're kind of limited to granny shifting, but that's alright i don't like powershifting anyways.

I have a 3+ and I can power shift my car and jam gears like a fool. Your clutch must not be adjusted right.

I broke my clutch in 25 miles before beating the crap out of the car and dumping the clutch. 8,000 miles later and never once did I have chatter or clutch slip.

I've had (2) Spec 3+ and I'm currently on the RAM Powergrip HD Clutch. I like the Ram one much better. The Spec 3+ is very brutal on the trans when rowing through the gears like a boss.

Twin disk Mcleod. Best clutch ever, light pedal, holds up to 1000+. I got it as a christmas present, and if the rest of my car would stay together it would be running like a champ.

McLeod RXT twin disk end story. It drives smooth like stock and holds 1000 hp with a super light pedal. It's the best of all worlds. I had a Spec 3+, biggest piece of garbage ever. I wouldn't wish that clutch on anyone. It's brutal, chatters like a mofo for ever, has very harsh on off characteristics and ate 4 throw out bearings before I threw it in the trash.
