Dash brake light on under acceleration

Tried search to no avail.

Every time I accelerate moderatly hard the brake light in my dash comes on and stays for a bit then goes away.

Any ideas to what it could possibly be? I'm not going to be able to really tackle it till Thursday. Car brakes fine but I'm not driving it till I'm sure its safe to, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Check you brake fluid level, even if it's a little low it will trigger the light.

Probably need to do your brakes. Pads are low meaning more fluid meaning less in the reservoir.

yup...need to add more brake fluid. thats what it is telling you. =]

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I figured it might of been the fluid however with such limited free time I wanted to check if there were possible culprits instead of standing around scratching my head. I really appreciate it and Happy 2012
