Let's say I have Groits Fast Correcting Cream and Groits Perfecting Cream and a variety of Lake County pads.

Defect to correct: 2 year old daughter rubbed felt furniture moving pads on dirty door. A couple of scratches you can barely feel with a fingernail. Several swirls.

I've done a full 2step correction on the car a couple of years ago but never had to do just one partial panel.

Start light duty or go for white pad and Fast Correcting cream in round 1?

Always start with the least aggressive method first. So go with your Perfecting Cream and lightest pad first, then step up the pad and see what works before going to the FCC. That stuff cuts like a boss and I believe may be too heavy for the defects you are describing.

I have received excellent results with Perfecting Cream and multiple pads from heavy to light. Griot's polishes are excellent IMO.
