I almost wouldn't mind trading in my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee in on a 2023 L...but I hear too many horror stories about them being at the dealer for weeks at the time for shit like not starting.
Man scary. I have a 23 non-L. Has been bulletproof through 62k.

I heard a rumor that ford is going to stop offering the keypads in 2025. Is there any truth to this?

They stopped offering it standard. It's now a Dealer Installed Accessory. It's not the same as the old stick on ones, it looks like the ones that used to be built into the B Piller on the driver door.

If you order it, it comes in a box to the Parts Department about a week before the vehicle arrives, then when the vehicle arrives the tech that does the pre-delviery inspection installs it.

That sucks. We use the keypads on the wife's truck all the time. Lots of cost cutting on $65-70K pickups it seems like.

Since when? Lol. My 22 was $83k, the 23’s I bought were $87k, and the 24 I bought was $92k.

All identical trucks.

Oh for sure. My wife's 2025 Expedition has an MSRP of $95,500.

I'm saying that by trimming out money here and there they can keep them from being in the higher levels.

EDIT: Psych, $96,050. Ridiculous.

This still sucks though as my bronco has the 3M stick on one and it only works about half the time. I’ve spend 10 minutes trying to get into it before.

The new ones aren't the stick on ones.
