[QUOTE="13RaceRedShelby, post: 13704982, member: 146349"] So I've had the LED fog light bulbs that came out last year that looked great and matched the HIDs better but lit up next to nothing. Then I switched to the much improved 30w bulbs that Bob's and Van has. Now I noticed on fleabay, there are 80w versions with Cree diodes. I'm no electronics guru at all but it's my perception that Cree is better quality. Although ebay advertising is unreliable, it says they are around 900- lumens. These appear to have Four-5w cree diodes on the front where the magnified lense is. That is twice what the 30w version has. It also says the twelve-5w diodes on the sides are NOT Cree diodes if that matters. These are said to be in the 6000-7000 color range. They also have a 50w version out there. What do you think? Any concerns? I know LEDs dont create heat but would they at this watage? I know one reason leds are used is bc they draw less power and last longer but would all this be negated to get to 80w?
