Getting ready to install a 5c converter . I've read multiple install threads in which none mentioned doing a crank relearn . I received my tune yesterday and in the email it said to make sure I do one once the converter is in . I have a x3 so I would have to go to the dealership for it . How many of you had to do this after a converter ? If I do indeed need one , do I do it before I load the new tune or after ?

I did not need a relearn after installing mine, cant see why it would be needed seeing as how you dont remove the flywheel

can anyone tell me why it needs to be done if you remove the flywheel or flex plate. Those dam things only go in one way so what changes when you remove it??
always wondered this!

They don't go back in the same position as they came out. There is a small bit of play it can rotate left and right once it's installed
