The greatness of this masterpiece is only brought to full fruition by viewing the artist's website. What I don't understand is that he has some really good work and then.....the abortion

http://www.sheetmetalhappens.com/home.html

"Carl Muia is the metal artist behind Sheet Metal Happens. Being a degreed Mechanical Engineer (BSME, Carnagie Institute of Technology) and with over 40 years in the Aerospace, Defense and Contract Engineering Services indusries in Seattle, WA and several years doing business in Russia and other Eastern European countries- he has a clear history of designing, building and solving problems. For 28 years (1975 to 2003) Carl served as a Reserve Police officer for the King County Sheriff's offiice in the State of Washington. For 22 of those years he worked undercover assignments.

Carl's love of metalworking started while he was in college in the late 50's in Pittsburgh , Pa. He earned his college degree by working after classes and on weekends as an autobody repair man, learning the craft of specialty metal shaping used to repair, restore and customize cars. He revisited his interest in automotive body work after retirement in 1998 when he moved to Carmel Valley, CA. where he designed and built custom cars until 2016. (See "Custom Cars" page)

Some time that year, Carl discovered that all the equipment and tools he had been using to create custom cars in his shop were ideal for shaping metal into abstract sculptures and other useful items. The studio was born. Carl spends most days designing and building pieces in his studio - working on both his own designs as well as commission pieces."

His studio borders the olive grove where he and his family grow olives for extra virgin olive oil marketed under the brand "Fattoria Muia Extra Virgin Olive Oil". (www.fattoriamuia.com)

That's what I was thinking. Fantastic workmanship on everything else and then boom. A Lotus mated with an '80s Caddy and everyone lost.

If he is so gifted with steel, revert it back to a normal Mustang and someone might buy it for 5,000.

It's been called Carnegie Mellon since 1967, and Carnegie Institute of Tech before that. He didn't even spell the name of his own school right. It's not "Carnagie" anything.

Maybe in 10 years this car will be sitting in a field somewhere and those guys from American Pickers will pay like 3,000 dollars for it because it is a unique piece of American transportation history.....

No one else is gonna buy it.........
