Coyote rods?

Please jump in if you or your friend is running a 96-98 cobra with coyote rods. I see these rods holding 600-800hp. That’s more then I’m shooting for. The car is a cruiser, I don’t launch from a dig. Does the coyote engine get away with that power due to the ability to bleed off compression with the variable timing?( I’m under that impression and could be wrong) Any input would be great.

there was just a thread the other day on here about an article for a n/a modular build and they used those rods
