I installed an oil pressure gauge over the weekend since the "Base Model" has no gauge and discovered these engines really make some pressure!! FWIW I'm running Mobil I 5W30

Cold Start: 95-100 PSI
Hot Idle: 22-25 PSI
1500 RPM's Hot: 65 PSI
2000 RPM's Hot: 85 PSI
4000+ RPM's Hot: 90+ PSI

You can actually see a blip in the pressure when the solenoids change the Cam Timing around 4K RPM's I think??;)

Post up a pic of where you mounted the gauge? I remember reading a post where you were looking for a spot to mount it.

I mounted it in the left vent with a Roush mount like in the photo attached but not real happy since the gauge frosts up from the AC when ya turn it off!!

Wow that matches really well.

Oil pressure at cold start and warm idle look about the same as my 4.6 dohc
