Coyote homemade cai ???

Are 90* turns that critical on a CAI?? I noticed all the Coyote cais is a gradual turn.....and I get the reasoning behind that. Do the 90* turns cause that much turbulence?? I put my air filter in the fender area using 2 90s.....always thinking!!

Generally you want as few and as slight turns as possible.

Here is mine in my 96 Cobra swap. One 90 degree bend, then straight to the filter in the fender. Thus far it has caused no issues, though I am still in the midst of tuning.

Om my 01 cobra coyote swap i have a 90 at throttle body and goes into passengers fender, 90 at throttle body then to 45s dropping into fender
