    They've said it's tax free.

edit: another site says "It’s treated as a fully refundable tax credit against your 2020 taxes"

My wife is a contract employee at a DoD MTF and their clinic has gone to minimum manning. So she is not working her full hourly week, her company cannot bill the govt for hours she does not work. So she does not get paid for the hours lost, as it should be. Maybe that is the savings that is funding the stimulus...lol fml.

However, she is a RN and cannot be utilized in ways her contract does not express. Which sucks because she could be a big help to other clinics that need people...and then get paid.

Sorry for the random all over the place rant.

China numbers have been proven to be a factor of 20 to 53 times the real numbers. And each day its different. Like I said before there was a model that predicted both the next days infection and death rate for china to within .9998 accuracy!

Will people have to pay taxes on the money when they file their tax returns next year?

No. The money is not counted as taxable income. It’s treated as a fully refundable tax credit against your 2020 taxes, meaning that you get the money even if you don’t have any tax liability.

Cdc estimated 30k-60k deaths each the year for flu the past 10 years.

Past Seasons Estimated Influenza Disease Burden | CDC

While 80k deaths is high, we average approximately 3 million deaths annual in the US.

If I qualified for a stimulus check, I’d pay my 2019 taxes with it.

It is my opinion (based on what I have researched) that the Wuhan cough is a much nastier bug than the flu. No doubt about it. The question is how much longer will you continue to harm the general populace in order to protect a small segment (<5%). Because at the rate we are going, EVERYBODY will be negatively impacted and many of those lives destroyed (much much greater % than the <5% casualty rate).

I am one of the lucky ones (for now), as this pandemic has not really impacted me yet. But I fear that if this continues, shit could get very real for the greater majority of this country.

    GOD bless everyone.
