This is question for those who have owned a fully suspension modded sho compared to a Contour SVT.
How do they compare if at all?
Close or not at all?
I love revin around 6k on a tight corners.Ive never driven a Contour as to compare ,My sho is glued to the road on corners.

Wow I never realized you had so many mods... I have driven one SVT Contour, but didn't get to take in the twisties. Once I start saving up some money I want to start suspension mods on my SHO. What do you recommend getting first? I already have to replace the subframe bushings since mine are bad, but first I have to get new brakes, oh yeah before that I have to replace my axle shaft seal since it is leaking. And then I need new tires because I have negative camber on the front and it wore the inside of my tires (like that when I got it, just didn't realize it until recently). So I guess I won't be getting any mods soon after all. :( Oh well.. this is the world of the SHO I guess.

Suspension mods
First
sub frame connectors
FRont /Rear Strut tower braces
tokico struts/they are much better than Kybs
intrax or eibaichs/ive only driven sho with intrax so i cant compare.
GTPs and H-brace/these are nice
26mm rear sway bar
Polys for sways
aluminum sub frame bushings.
Taurus translated means BULL,after all these mods you can call your sho NO MO BULL.Because it will no longer handle like a Taurus. The car will feel smaller ,tighter, faster. The best investment for a sho in my book is suspension.

On my 93 I had Eibachs/Tokico/SFC. It handled probably a little better than my Stock CSVT, but it was riding like a box of rocks. I loved the car though. I was going to do the Aluminum SFBs too, but got rid of the car before that, and also heard it would make the ride a little more harsh as well. All in all I say go for it :)

Well said Prophet! SFC's make a huge difference!!! If you can't afford both STB's at the same time, get the rear one first, it makes more of a difference. Also harder to put on, but the difference will make up for that

Gabriel SUCK!!!

I put OEM Motorcraft on the BAtmobile and they are just fine. I highly recommend them if you are stock.

Hey,
What's up? I have the Gabriel struts, they are actually nice struts and very cheap compared to the other filling loosening struts. I put the KYB struts on and couldn't tolerate the ride, but the Gabriels ride nice little stiff but when you hit the first corner and there's no lean or dive it's worth it.
Just my 2 cents
