I agree 100% I hate ****ing cops with a passion. Maybe if they required more than 4months basic law enforcement training then shit like this wouldn't happen. Every punk asshole piece of shit that is too lazy to work around here that I went to highschool with is now a ****ing power hungry cop. DAMN I HATE COPS.

SOOO many people in this thread have a very skewed perception of reality and how the Law Enforcement Community exists and operates. All you geniuses that are shouting 'she got what she deserved' don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. Common and all the other right brain thinkers in this thread are 100% correct. No one is saying that he girl didn't know what the hell she was doing or that being 15 excuses her dumbass behavior. But the fact of the matter is that the cop was WAY out of line. Go show this video to any actual LEO and they'll be ashamed to call that shell of a man a brother in arms.

He was out of line period end of story. Anyone who thinks this was not overkill or a total abuse of power and instead sees this as her getting her 'just deserts' really need to step back and put things into perspective before spouting off with uneducated replies.

This thread is evidence of the pussification of America. If the mom would of beaten her ass as a child she more than likely wouldnt of stolen her moms car later in life which would of kept her out of prison and out of the mainstream media who will now make sure this officer leads a horrible rest of his life because he did something to the girl that should of have been done years ago.

If cops treated criminals like that more often, criminals would think twice about being criminals. We need to clean up this country because the parents arent

Lets not forget she was being put in a holding cell with no windows....She didnt mistakenly take her parents keys. Shes a criminal. Unsubscribing

excessive force even if she was mouthing off.. id hope he would have learned since his years in high school that kids talk crap because they cant. u dont take it to heart being 99% of what spews from them is bullsht anyways. so police officer definitely was out of line
and if he was in fear of his life a man of his size vs a person that little.. he needs his badge taken away for being a pusy

i agree, WHEN THE PARENTS are the ones doing the hitting, not someone on a power trip. What would of happened if he got carried away, cracked her one too hard and killed her? Would it still of been a "oopsie doodle. well, she was giving me an attitude and didn't have respect for my authority."?

    Wrong again, Jethro!!!

We can all take solace in the fact that you and people like you are rare, so the gene pool isnt that contaminated yet. Thankfully.

It is a PROVEN fact that harsh penalties arent a good deterrent as its evident by the states that have the death penalty also still have high crime rates as the ones that dont. Anyway, all that is still beside the point, officers cant punish and skip the entire process of trial. You are not very smart.

i often agree with you say or at least consider it well thought out, even if i disagree. i dont think that was the case here. this has nothing to do with the "pussification of america". it has to do with one overstepping his boundaries/authority. i know youre a die hard conservative, who are adamantly against the government increasing its militaristic approaches. you should be opposing ANY cops doling out their own justice to anyone. especially if theyre still in the state of being "accused" and not "convicted!" just wait till the SS comes and kicks in your door and drags you out for being an obama hater/right wing extremist sympathizer or because youre refusing to hand over your guns. you'll be hating life then while others will be sitting back saying "eh, that's what he gets for going against the grain" :read: you of all people should know that its a dangerous slippery slope when you allow a police force to get away with this kind of behavior. to deprive a citizen of their due process and go straight to punishment :poke:

are you trying to tell us you NEVER committed a crime? EVER?? of ANY type?? because if so, than that makes YOU a criminal as well. (as well as the rest of us). or are you saying that youre only a criminal if you get caught?? or there are different degrees of criminality?? in my book, a criminal is someone who has criminal tendencies and tends to break the law often and whenever the opportunity arises. some teenager running off with her mom's car isnt a criminal. how many guys in this forum took the parents car out for a joy ride when they were on vacation?? how many had a party at the house when the parents were away?? please. both are as old and american as apple pie. the difference here is that mom actually called the cops on her instead of waiting for her to get home and have the usual screaming match. my parents wouldnt have called the cops. i would have just gotten my ass kicked when i got home :kaboom: (and yes, i did take their car out a few times and never got caught. THANK GOD!)

I'm normaly on the Cops side in these videos but I don't don't care what happened before this vid that was way overboard. If that was my Daughter I would spend the rest of my life making sure he paid 10 fold for that beating.

+1 My mother and father gave beatings when I was a kid, but the difference in this video is that the cop isn't father of that girl. The girl could of been disrespectful for all we know but let all that straighten out when she goes to court for what shes done. I know we are all human but come on, shes just a girl and at the end of the day you will have that on the back of your mind, that you just beat up a small girl and pulled her hair.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but this particular LEO has a history of what could be perceived by some as utilizing 'excessive force'. He shot and killed a mentally unstable person on I-5 a few years ago (2006 I think), and also shot and severely injured another suspect in 2002. Seems to me he isn't capable of analyzing and thinking through a situation before reacting with force...not a good trait for a cop to have.
