Considering LEO career

I am considering a transistion into this field. I would love to have feedback on the pros and cons and really what to expect. I have a pretty clean background (only traffic offenses though numerous, but none in 4 years)

Adam the departments I am thinking about applying that have openings right now are Rock Island and Davenport. Again thanks for any responses.

I would certainly choose Davenpit over Rock Island. As you know I was with Scott County S.O.
