Hey guys & gals. I'm looking to try out autocross. A friend of mine does it in his Acura TSX, and I'd like to join him but I'm not sure if my Mustang is setup to be successful. It's a 93 LX convertible with a 302 crate motor producing high HP and torque numbers (400+ each), a beefed up Borg-Warner T-5 w/ Hurst Shifter & Centerforce clutch, 3.73 gears, 5-lug disc brakes all around (95 GT upgrade), 17" 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels, 245/45R17 BF Goodrich G-Force tires, and a custom oil cooler. I haven't upgraded the brake booster though. Do you guys think my setup is ok for running autocross or do I need to make changes.

Don't worry about being competative. Just go and have fun. Trust me I race on a national level in Solo. It is doubtful that even if you were in a fully prepped car you will be competative as a novice. About 99.5% of us are not when we start. Go have fun and run the car. Enjoy because Solo is awesome and addicitive.
