So I'm in the process of doing some routine maintenance on the cobra. Spark plugs fuel filter oil change etc... wanted to do a compression test for the hell of it. So I picked up a kit at Harbor freight today and stuck on the 14mm thread adapter and for some reason it isn't threading in. It seems to be the correct size via visual and Google searches. Any ideas? Might just exchange it for the more expensive model.

The plug is a tapered seat. See the shiny band. The compression tester has a flat seat.

The flat seat is bottoming out before the threads reach.

That was my thoughts on it after looking at it. Wonder if it's a quality control issue or just the way it's made. Going to try and do some more research today
