Supposedly he is bulking to 220lbs for this, or that is what they are requesting. Friend of mine is a body builder and an actor and was in Tenant with him and got to know him pretty well. He posted on Facebook about Pattinson getting to that weight which he said was not going to be easy from where he was at but said it was possible. I think the main factor here is that he is taller so the perception of him from movies is slightly skewed. Edit: Sounds like that weight gain never panned out, just read the rest of the posts. I guess it was too hard for him after all lol. Another thing I heard about this movie is that Colin Ferrell is completely unrecognizable as The Penguin. So much so that when he was first on set most of the other people on set were talking and joking with him, but were asking around who this unknown guy was who was talking to everyone and joking around. I have high hopes for this one and we are probable going to see a lot more Batman movies because that is what WB and DC are going to do rather than try and compete with Marvel. They feel that just doing standalone movies with their most popular characters is the winning formula, and they aren't exactly wrong. The Snyder Cut comes out this month on the 18th so depending on how that is received it could change, but I still think The Dark Knight was the best superhero movie ever made. I don't think anyone will ever top Ledger's performance in that movie.
