I went up to test n tune wednesday. Recently converted the car over to e85. Still in the process of fine tuning it. On 15psi 25* timing and a rich 11.2:1 AFR I ran

Nice job. What pumps and injectors are you running with the e85. I've been considering it. I have enough injector, but I don't know if my focus pumps will be enough.

The tune isn't that aggressive. E85 is about 108-110oct. I think i can still squeeze more outta the tune.

As for pumps and injectors Im just running stock pumps with a BAP set at 40. Im outta pump just around redline. 60lb injectors im running around 75% duty cycle sloped at 30%.

heres what will get you. uncorrected on a dynojet my car put out only 420rwhp. so a basic intake/exhaust car at sealevel. gotta love altitude. pretty sad when its a upper/lower, ported eaton full exhaust car.

Hey ZOSO, I thing I saw you at Bandimere this past summer. Nice run! It is hard as hell to get into 11's at this elevation with a Eaton. I ran three 11.9 runs all in the same night on September 24th at Bandimere. :rolling: I will be there for the last test and tune night on Wednesday. Let me know if you are going to be there, I would like to check out the Cobra.

i'll be there tomorrow for the last runs of the season. ya cant miss me. usually the only redfire cobra and on slicks and skinnies. goin for my 11.7x tomorrow. then its down for a few winter mods. glad to hear of another eaton only car around thats runnin 11's. as you said its been no easy task. gonna try my new tune tonight and hope it will get me a few 100th's off my time for some good passes.

I thought E85 required richer than 11.2 afr to burn right, It is making horsepower but I thought stoich for e85 was like in the 9s to 10s afr. Correct me if im wrong.

Yes stoich for e85 is 9.2:1 but when reading it on a gasoline wideband you want to read stoich. Which is 14.7:1 and e85 makes the best power around 12:1 on a gas wideband.




On a side note i didn't get my 11.7 pass. all i got was a 11.92. The track was not prepped for shit. Couldn't get better than a 2.0 60'.
