Color discrepancy between dash and center console

Anyone else have a sizable variance in color where their center consoles meet with the dash? I guess I never paid attention but a quick search tells me it’s more common than I thought. Here’s a couple examples....

To be fair I guess it isn’t new. The black and even the beige SN95 interiors have pretty noticeable differences

Yeah mine has that going on also, not as extreme as yours though.
I never noticed it in my 94-95 cars, but it may have been there.
When I first started looking at Terminators I saw one like that and asked the guy if he had replaced his center console for some reason lol

No "good" reason why the pieces couldn't/shouldn't match. Even if multiple suppliers are used. Same scenario as a part supplier change in the middle of a MY. Quality control is either a high priority, or its a lesser priority. JMO.
