coil-over kits???

Hey guys, I'm looking to up grade my suspension. What is the purpose of coil-overs? and what would you all suggest if I wanted to go that route (coil-overs). This is my DD and it is a vert., I don't go to the track alot and I run my car light to light a few times a month :burnout:. or should I go with some MM springs. Thxs. as always

no point on getting coil overs... most people get them to save weight and for a drag / road race set up.. if your only wanting a stiffer ride and a little drop i would get some normal spring.. plus it will cost alot less.. i spent about 1000 dollars on my mm coil over kit..
