Hey guys need some advice. A buddy wants to buy an extra set of 00 Cobra R calipers I have but we have run into a somewhat dilemna. He has aftermarket 17x9 03 Cobra wheels in the front with a slight dish. The specs are as follows:

+25mm offset
5.98 inch backspace
70.6 mm centerbore

On a stock 03 cobra wheel which I know will fit because I use to run them lol, these are the specs:

+26 mm offset
6.12 inch backspace

If he's your buddy why no throw the calipers on his car and check? Just tuck the current caliper behind the strut and mount the 00 R caliper.

Cobra r’s fit on my stock 03 wheels just fine. Those backspace specs look healthy if anything.

Here’s what the values represent

The 1mm difference can’t be enough, my 03 wheels had 4-5mm or more of space from the caliper iirc.
