Cobra mirror question

I’m looking at sending out my mirror bases to get overlayed with carbon fiber and my question is how are people dismantling them without cutting the wire for the power mirror?

That's a good idea. Any pics of this done on our mirrors.
Couldn't you take a pic of the wire orientation in the connector. Then just de-pin it from the connector. Then fit the loose wires through?
