I don’t believe or think anyone else does that it was made up on your part.
Just be careful and don’t put any liability of any kind on you or anyone around you. Even that stuff with the trailer.

Why would you want to sell the car? Scam or not, I'm guessing you're not desperate for money and the car is so close to being finished. I would want to enjoy the car after all the work put into. 38k is a good price, but like I said, I'm guessing you really dont need the money.

$38k is great money for an SB terminator given the miles it has. How many owners?
If you can sell it at that price I would. Scoop up another SB terminator with lower miles for less. They are out there.
