I can pull up on my pedal and it stays adjusted for about 2 shifts. My tranny in what I call "crunchy" inot first and second gear - especially when cold. I have an MGW and am about ot install a quadrant and firewall. I may even change the tranny fluid b/c this is a horrible shifting car.

Mine seems to engage too LATE even after installing my clutch quadrant from Steeda. Would it possibly not hold its adjustment if the locking nuts worked their way loose? COUNTER clockwise on the adjuster to make it engage sooner, correct?
