Hello everyone! New S197 owner here. I purchased a white 2013 GT with 19,000 miles last month. The car came with "full bolt ons" that were installed by the previous owner. I took the car to its first track run last night and blew the clutch upon launch. Now, my baby is sitting on jack stands in the garage. So, my question is, does anyone have any ideas in regards to the cost of a complete replacement by a dealership or certified shop? A good friend of mine has quoted me $500 in labor to do it, claiming it will take him 8 hours and he will do it in my garage. If I were to go this route, I would be purchasing an aftermarket performance clutch. Due to this experience, the though of daily driving this car has started to make me worry. I would like your thoughts, opinions, and experiences. I'm close to Columbus, Ohio. Thank you! Jared R.
