clutch or trans prob?

01 cobra vert w/ stock trans. My TOB is squeaking at times, so I think that my clutch is most likely needing replacement anyways, but the question I have is, the trans doesn't like going into 3rd at high rpms. Low rpms are fine.
So could the problem be the clutch or is it most likely my syncros?

having the exact same problem my tob squeaks all the time. i was told just to get a new clutch and sometimes 3rd doesnt wanna go in i dont really know whats wrong with that either.

the clutch could be affecting the shifting but you need to swap the quadrant and put in a firewall adjuster.

yes, put in a aftermarket quadrant and firewall adjuster. you should be able to adjust it so that your tob won't squeek. if that doesn't fix it, then you might look into getting the tob replaced.

My foire quadrant and firewall adjuster allows me to shift at high rpm's. The stock unit didn't allow me to shift at high rpm's.
