I haven't seen many posts related to the stock clutch on the '00 R? Just wondering how everyone's clutch is holding up, especially those of you who routinely track your car?

the clutch is the standard 99 cobra unit.

somewhere in here is a thread on my clutch problem

blown thru shifting error. still think it should have held together.

now i have a dual kevlar from bill kaiser. very happy with it.

Hey I was just wondering, does the 00 Cobra, 99 Corbra, 00 Cobra R, and the 2001 Cobra use the same clutch?

What exactly did you do wrong when you blew yours out due to "improper shifting"

I have a 01 Cobra, and I did the same thing, but I think I shifted correctly, but perhaps not. I think it shoudl have taken it.

Also I wanted a King Cobra Clutch but they (Ford) said they don't make one for 2001 (yet).

first, my shifting error was going to second instead of 4th at 120+ (oh well)

the price was around 500 (throwout, disk, plate, ship)

also, isepic, there was no 00 cobra made (just the r in 00)
