Clutch kit

My car has around 600 rear and should have around 700 next summer. Want to replace my clutch.
Thinking mcloud rxt with flywheel
New 26 Input shaft
Steeda cable
Throw out bearing
Clutch fork.
Anything else I’m missing?

Pilot bearing. Since you're in there. I'd add the steel TOB sleeve as well. And an adjustable fork pivot.

I thought I saw it posted someone has a twin disc w/ flywheel setup that uses the stock pivot ball which definitely has some appeal

I had the RXT in my mt82, great clutch. I daily drove it with a vmp for about 25k miles no problem.

I think that's the Centerforce DYAD. It's probably a better choice if you're running running a Magnum as the RXT requires the case to be clearanced to get enough throw. That's not an issue on the standard T-56. I spent about 10 minutes measuring and trimming the pivot ball on mine.

If you have a stock T-56 the RXT is fine IMO. You should replace the pivot ball anyway while you're in there.

Ya stock t[emoji6][emoji6] I’ll replace to bearing sleeve clutch fork etc will replace all since I will be in there

Sorry boys getting ready to order some parts along with the clutch kit. Would aluminum or steel flywheel be a better choice for me? I should be making close to 700 rear and only use the car for summer on nice days mainly to cruise etc. don’t track it or anything

It's all personal preference. The steel should help you get rolling a little easier. But these cars have an aluminum flywheel from the factory.

Ya I know the cobras came with an aluminum one but my tuner / mechanic told me to get steel if I’m not dragging it? I will have him do the clutch replacement I haven’t done one myself and honestly don’t have time lately. You guys running the aluminum aftermarket ones or steel? Dragging the car or street use?

Debating on Steel from McLeod or lethal performance lightened steel. Think lethal will give me best of both worlds

That was my original plan. Then my tuner said get steel since you’re not dragging the car and made me re think my decision. I’ve had 6 mustangs and 2 being terminators and I never had a issue with getting out of first with stock aluminum flywheel but some people are saying lightened flywheel from lethal is good aswell

I mean, who's spending the money and who's driving it? If you want aluminum, get aluminum. Plenty of street cars out there with them.

Haha this guy. I’m spending the money and driving it. I just want to make sure i don’t make a stupid decision and get the wrong flywheel or could of got a better one etc

Pilot bearing meaning throw out bearing? Fork pivot being the clutch fork? Can’t seem to find a adjustable one the ford and mcloed one doesn’t seem adjustable

Just ordered all my parts along with the clutch kit and aluminum flywheel hope I don’t regret that decision haha
