Understand, my only point was that exceptional condition notches bring good money. Really anything from the 90s in exceptional condition is bringing good money lately. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.Different car, but I get it.

I've said the exact same thing for decades. For some reason 89 is the only year that appeals to me. 90 to 93 I hate the airbag steering wheel. 87 and 88 I don't like the speed density.
Freedom....or converts them to carburetor (I have no idea why).
I had a 88 in white with the porno red interior. If I could pick any 87-93 Mustang to purchase and order brand spanking new right now, I have two that immediately pop into mind right now other than a 1993 Cobra.
1989 Mustang GT. Black with red pinstripe in the molding, turbines, grey interior with the big headrest sport seats. 5-spd, all the options. Equalizer radio. This was the quintessential 80's Mustang i saw all over when I was a kid and wanted. I fell in love with the 87-89 sport seat interior.
1993 Mustang GT. 2-tone, reef blue w/titanium lower. Opal grey interior. 5-spd, fully loaded, OEM CD player. I can possibly go convertible on this combo as well.
If i won the lotto and had money to throw at a non-cobra, those would be the two. I never liked the notchbacks back in the 90's and '00's and never really had the lust for them like others do.
