Chuck Yeager, Dead at 97

The first man to go stupid fast when he broke the sound barrier has passed. Another WWII Vet and a Great American has checked out.

We are getting real close to only having books, photos, documentaries and recordings to remember WWII by.

went to an air show at Edwards AFB when i was a kid. he flew by and broke the sound barrier for the crowd.

RIP and Godspeed to the legend.

Met him at the museum of flight in Seattle, and got his autograph back in the 90's. Somewhere I have a picture of me as a kid with him.

He was/is a legend.
