[QUOTE="bigja01cobra, post: 15919918, member: 91090"] Dodge and Chrysler own the Minivan Market in 2017 with over about 50% of the market. 26% Dodge 24% Chrysler which was slightly growing because no one made an affordable 7 passenger vehicle all these little SUVs suck for people with several kids in car seats. If we see the large SUVs comeback maybe the Similarly they have over 35% of Large car market (300 and Charger) with Charger at 22% and 300 at 13%. I doubt the 300 purchasers are stealing sales from the charger as stylistically they are polar opposites. With Ford exiting the market that will free up some more volume on the large car market but the market as a whole is declining. I believe the main reason they are looking to scrap Chrysler is they are do for a major refresh and probably not enough $ to justify. I believe the Chrysler was the last large car with v8 and rwd that sells ( the SS doesnt sell well) that is a little more refined looking then the charger. They talked of going to small engine FWD which is stupid because then you are competing with the imports like Kia, Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai which they are making cheaper and cheaper each year sharing all development cost across their entire line up.
