Chrome Headers or coolant problems

I have a set of BBK chrome headers on my car and have read that they get very hot. I also notice that my temperature gauge on my car gets up to half way really quickly from a cold start, and after driving it hard for a few minutes it gets past the 3/4 mark on the temp guage. Is it the headers or do i have a coolant problem? I might just be paranoid:bash:

Sounds like you have a coolant problem. Headers shouldn't make your car run hot.

Chrome headers do get hot, but it shouldnt affect anything. Check your thermostat..im assuming you have coolant in there?

Yeah i was thinking the same thing, that maybe my thermostat was clogged or shut. I'll have to get it checked out
