It's pretty easy. Pull coil pack screw, pull coil pack, pull plug. Reverse order to reinstall

Thanks. I wanna clean the cooler to.

I used Purple Power (eco safe) and a rubber maid tote. Poured Purple Power into tote, set cooler in, and sprayed Purple Power onto it. I let it sit in the tote while I was doing everything else to the truck. Roughly 6 hours went by when I finally removed and rinsed the cooler. The used a garden hose to clean off. It was really easy to do.

That stuff didn't corrode the aluminum? I used something like that on some diamond plate years back and had to polish it to get it looking decent again. It developed a fairly nasty coating of oxidation.

The last time I cleaned an intercooler I think I used carb cleaner.

No. Left no staining of any sort. Several others have used it with great success as well. I'll check my files for before and after pics to share.

Out of the tote air drying after garden hose. The darker areas you see are still wet. Once it dried it looked like new.
