Changed my mind and went with the BOSS

Looks like I'll be hanging aournd the 2012-2013 Boss 302 section, but I'll stop in here every once in awhile. I thought real hard about this and in the end I went with a 2013 GTHIG Boss 302. I still love the GT500 just changed my mind this time.

I just wanted a change, I had a 08 GT500 and I sold it with the intention of getting a 13 or 14 GT500. I took a test drive in a used 2012 Boss and really like the way it drove. I know it won't make anywhere near the power of the GT500, but there is potential in the 5.0 motor. It already has stought block, rods, pistion and crank so adding some boost to it shouldn't kill it. We shall see.

I like it. You'll be fine. I was in the same boat as well and went with the Shelby. Plenty of room for power adding if you want. You can always get another GT500 down that long and empty road....

Nice! That is definitely an attention grabbing color! Looks great. I also test drove a 2012 Boss and loved it. I'm the type that doesn't like to make big mods, and wanted to keep the warranty, so that's why I chose the Shelby.

With the amount of power some have into their Boss's this might be even more economical decision to reach 1000HP. You may not even spend what you would have with the Shelby!
