Cervini hood for a 4.0 Whipple?

Can anyone confirm the Cervini's Cobra R hood will or will not fit over the Whipple 4.0 without the k member spacer?

who is doing your stripes ? i have a local guy that has been working on mine for 2 weeks and cannot get the color exact .

Local guy here in Houston. I planned to take the strips off so if he doesn't get the color matched like he says he can, it's not a big deal to me.
