center exhaust system

In an issue of MM&ff a few months ago there was a story about an exhaust system that moved the tips to the center of the rear bumper. It came with the tailpipes and a new rear bumper cover. Anyone know who makes it?

The one I saw it put on was a SALEEN, although I'm positive it wasn't a SALEEN exhaust system. I'll see if I can find that one for you.

I believe chicane makes it. They also make the rear saleen bumper that fits it.

That sounds right, but I'm still looking through my MM&FF stacks for this write-up they did on that setup.

What was on the cover?

On www.chicanesport.com it sells the rear saleen valence but it only says it works with the borla exhaust system. I don't think they sell the exhaust too.

I was talking to a S-351 owner today about a Saleen w/center exhaust. He said they only make 2 of them and he knows of one for sale!

at this years Fun Ford at Houston Raceway park there was a 99 gt ---> converted to a Saleen that had that exhaust with a bassani off-road x-pipe. It sounded sweet, not to loud though. That price is kinda steep though...... I paid $300 for my full exhaust.

I have the center exhaust on my Saleen. The bumper is from Saleen, although you can order it through Chicane. Chicane has 2 sets of pipes that bolt on to the Borla. The Saleen tips which are 3.5" with louvered fins on the inside. And Chicanes own 4" tips that are resonated. I have the latter.
