Those of you with CCWs...

I have a set of Classics 18×9.5 front and 18×11 Terminator IRS Spec.

Really liking the 315/35/18 Toyo TQ tire. Sits at 26.6 in diameter and seems to be able to hook some power.

I'm looking at being at 800+ wheel on E85.

Was originally looking at doing a 265/40/18 Toyo Proxes 1 for the front. Would be a 26.3 in diameter tire. But they're on backorder until mid April...

What combo are you TQ guys running for the front tires?

Looks like I could still do a 275/35/18 in either the Toyo Proxes 4 Plus or the Toyo Proxes T1 Sport.

Proxes 4 Plus is at 25.6 in diameter and 10.9 in width

Proxes T1 Sport is at 25.5 in diameter and 10.8 in width

(Proxes TQ is at 26.6 in diameter and 12.7 in width)

Thanks!

Here you go, David. 315/35 TQ on 18x11 sp500, 275/35 proxes4 on 18x9.5.

+1 on 275/35

I went with slighlty taller 265/40 for a little added ground clearance, and don’t like the look on 18” wheel. If you are running a 30/35 sidewall in back I’d stick to 35 up front

Thank you for the input! I had originally ordered the 265/40 thinking the same thing about clearance. Kinda glad they're on backorder so I can switch to a 275/35.

People seem to love the Proxes T1 Sport so I may give that one a try for the fronts!

Thanks!

What are you running out back? If you could do it again, you would have opted for a 40 sidewall?

Thanks for the response!

I'm running the toyo r888 in 305/35/18. I have a brand new pair I'll be putting on this year.

Yes, I think a 40 series would look perfect up front.

I could seriously stare at your terminator all day.

Thanks!

Excellent! Looks amazing! Thanks so much Jeff for taking the time to show me what the setup would look like! Much appreciated!

No problem David. Good luck with your decision.....and definitely post up some pics when it's all done!

I'm running the same exact set up except I'm using Nitto 555's up front. I love the look of the 35 series in front and back. Gives the car a nice stance. Your car looks amazing !

Thanks!

H&R race springs with stock isos in place.

The h&r race spring up in the front seems to produce a slightly taller stance creating more wheel gap, so I can see the desire to consider more sidewall. I know 04sleeper put a cut stock spring in the front of this car....but he used an h&r race in the rear. I remember him saying he did this because he thought the h&r race up front would sit too high. The 275/35 works perfectly if the front is low enough

If anybody looking for some quotes on any set of CCW, please shoot me a message

I would personally run the 305/35/18 R888R instead of the TQ. If I went drag radial, I would go the 325/35/18 ET-R

Do you know if the 325/35/18 ET-R will stick out? Or will it just make it under the fender?
If anyone is running that tire can you please post a picture.
Thanks

Got em in! Due to shipping and availability of certain Toyo Proxes front tires, I decided to go Nitto. Same company ownership so...

315/35/18 Toyo Proxes TQ for the rear and 275/35/18 Nitto 555-G2 up front!
