Carquest sale on Castrol Edge 5/50 to dealers

Finally got a deal for working at a car dealership. Just got Castrol Edge 5/50 for $6.76 a quart. (Reformulated with Syntec for even better performance...) I may call and order 8 more just because it's such a deal. I ran the regular Motorcraft semi-syn last time, but just decided I want to run the 5/50. Planning on another HPDE event anyway. The sale ends July 1st.

Well, looks like I may return it after a call to Castrol. They told me that it's formulated with higher zinc and phospurus (I believe that's what she said) for older cars, and that's why it doesn't meet Fords performance requirement. I know I've read folks love it and get good oil analysis results, but I think if the Castrol rep doesn't give me a warm fuzzy, I need to heed that.
