I run AutoChecks at my store.
Send me an email with the VIN and your screen name and I'll send you a copy.

Whats the difference between reporting to AutoCheck and CarFax? I was looking at a truck and CarFax listed an accident from 6 months ago and AutoCheck showed nothing. CarFax wrote back and said it was a minor rear end accident.
If someone would be willing to run a Carfax on a "new" Jeep that we just bought, that I now have a suspicion might have had an undisclosed previous owner, I'd GREATLY appreciate it!

It didn't. It's not showing that it's ever been registered.
If it had miles on it when you bought it, it may have been a dealership loaner vehicle, or someone's demo.
Ok, thank you very much for that info. The Jeep did have a little over 300 miles on it when we bought it, and were advised that it probably got used as a loaner, but the thing that really made me wonder was this morning when we took it in for service to fix a windshield issue. When the girl in the service department entered our VIN, she said it came up under someone else's name. She went and double checked the VIN to make sure she took it down right and confirmed that. She asked the service manager and he went in and deleted the other info and replaced it with ours, without really addressing our question of if it was previously registered. So I'm not sure what the deal was, but your response makes me feel more at ease now. Thank you very much!
Whoever drove it as a loaner probably brought it in for some warranty issue and the service writer put it in their name to write a ticket and have a number to call them back at, no big deal.
