I have a small chip in the resin on my VIS Cobra R style carbon fiber hood that i'm going to DIY repair. I've never repaired anything carbon fiber, so any pointers are helpful.
I was going to tackle it like I would a paint chip. Basically my thought was to sand down the chipped area and a small area around it, clean it, then apply small coats of resin.
Are there any preferred kits/resins to use? This is a pretty expensive hood, so i'd like it to look as good as possible. Thanks as always
