Car revved itself up to 8k rpm’s , turned it off won’t start now, only crank.

When I bought my car the throttle linkage got stuck on the hose clamp for the intake tube. It took a minute to find it. But now the TPS is probably stuck at WOT and telling the ECU the pedal is floored. If you don't have any codes I would pull the TPS and make sure it's not stuck or sticking.</p></blockquote><p></p>
